No fancy footwork needed to attend, just come, enjoy the friendly camaraderie, dance to live fiddle music and see everyone’s smiling faces! Live Music: by Mickey Koth & John Kalinowski! Mickey Koth on fiddle and various wind instruments and John Kalinowski on accordion, concertina, and fife are an energetic and exuberant traditional acoustic duo with roots in Irish, Scottish, French-Canadian, jazz, and classical music, Mickey and John’s playing have been described as “St. Patrick at a hoedown.” As one fan put it, “they will change your O’Doul’s to Guinness!” Caller: Don Heinold. Don has been calling dances for over 14 years all over New England. He was the organizer of Mostly Waltz RI and frequently is asked to do private waltz lessons! Admission: $13.00 per person or students (with ID, please) are $6. And any donations are greatly appreciated and encouraged! Clothing & Footwear: Clothing is casual, layers are best for this invigorating exercise. Please wear non-street shoes that move easily on the floor (rubber soled sneaker are discouraged).
