Join Monrovia English Country Dance for a special introductory class on dancing in Jane Austen’s time! This beginner-friendly class will teach the basics of English Country Dance as seen in Austen’s novels and their movie adaptations. No partner required, no costume required; all are invited to have a relaxing and fun time. Dances will be taught by Cara King, who has lectured on Austen-era dancing for JASNA-SW, and taught Regency dance for the Historical Tea & Dance Society, Monrovia ECD, and the Regency Fiction Writers.
